ABOUT CRI's GREEN LABEL PROGRAM |
| |
GreenFloors Adhesive products are 97% lower in emissions than current
Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) criteria*
Carpets and adhesives, as
part of the CRI "Green Label" program, are tested for chemical emissions
by Air Quality Sciences, an Atlanta-based, independent laboratory. The
test methodology was developed by consensus during an official dialogue
with the EPA and
has been adopted by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
In order to be part of the "Green Label" program, the adhesive must be
measured at 10.0 mg/m2 hr or less. The maximum emission factor for carpet
is .5 mg/m2 hr. For example, GreenFloors High-Performance Carpet

emissions are at levels of the CRI IAQ criteria established for carpets!
